My Cat and Feline Diabetes (Little Deer Diary)

Deer little Diary: part 2

This week my cat Honey was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes (diabetesmellitus). She had been ill for some time and after several useless visits to Vets they finally found out what was wrong with her. This week I have had to get used to giving her insulin twice a day with a needle! A bit tricky at first but I think I have the hang of it now. She seems a lot better even after only a week of treatment. So much so, that I took a few pictures of her playing with little deer.

Honey

Hello

A cat kiss

Over and out till next time :)

  4. That really is a tricky one, taking a needle to the cat, you did well there. Get well soon Honey!

  5. Hey it’s not to bad as she’s a dope. she just doesn’t seem to mind the injections a tall, silly thing. :)

  6. I am glad you have found out what the problem was. She looks great in these pix. Hopefully she’ll be back on form and bouncing about like a kitten in no time. How old is she?

    • Ah, so not in her first flush of youth, but by no means an old lady either. Hope you have many years left together.
I have a weakness for ginger cats. They have that special something about them.

  7. Yeah she’s a little madam alright! Good thing that shes OK about the injections. Thanks for your comments Isobel :) x

  8. Best wishes to your domestic mouse interdiction agent.
