My Cat and Feline Diabetes (Little Deer Diary)
Deer little Diary: part 2
This week my cat Honey was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes (diabetesmellitus). She had been ill for some time and after several useless visits to Vets they finally found out what was wrong with her. This week I have had to get used to giving her insulin twice a day with a needle! A bit tricky at first but I think I have the hang of it now. She seems a lot better even after only a week of treatment. So much so, that I took a few pictures of her playing with little deer.
Over and out till next time

Too cute! Wonderful shots.
Thank you Inga
Oh dear Rachel, I hope and wish she get well soon. She is so adorable… so lovely. I can almost feel you, I have cat too, and how difficult when they are ill… but you are doing great, my wishes for you both, Blessing and happiness, with my love, nia
Dear Nia, thank you my dear!! xx
Sorry to hear about Honey… hopefully she continues to respond well to the insulin and feels much better very soon!
Great photos, too, of course!
Cheers spilledinkguy, she is doing better now thank you
That really is a tricky one, taking a needle to the cat, you did well there. Get well soon Honey!
Hey it’s not to bad as she’s a dope. she just doesn’t seem to mind the injections a tall, silly thing.
I am glad you have found out what the problem was. She looks great in these pix. Hopefully she’ll be back on form and bouncing about like a kitten in no time. How old is she?
Thank you Isobel!
She is 10 years old.
Ah, so not in her first flush of youth, but by no means an old lady either. Hope you have many years left together.
I have a weakness for ginger cats. They have that special something about them.
Yeah she’s a little madam alright! Good thing that shes OK about the injections. Thanks for your comments Isobel
